I don’t know about you guys, but I’m so excited for warmer weather! I’m ready for boating, sun, patios, bonfires, wineries, and all that fun stuff. Since I’ve got quite a few outdoor ONLY gigs coming up (ie, will get cancelled if it rains), I’ll try to remember to put in the notes if the gig is contingent on weather!
Now, many of you know that I’ve been trying to get a foothold in some of the larger cities surrounding us. It is becoming more and more apparent that I need a larger YouTube following to be considered for most of these establishments. So please take the time to go check out some videos and subscribe to my page at www.youtube.com/channel/UCqflwlESCqiC9QjQxKsJ35Q. Every single person helps, it’s completely free and it would really help me grow!!!! I’m trying to post at least one video a week, so feel free to send me your requests 🙂
I’m super excited that I was just interviewed for an article in the magazine, Carbondale Nightlife! This is my first write up from somewhere away from home, so I’m definitely feeling blessed and humbled! I’ve been enjoying gigging in southern Illinois and I’m happy to say that they like me…they really like me, lol! Be sure to look for my article in the April 2017 issue of Carbondale Nightlife.

You know, this all started because I loved to sing. If you asked me 10 years ago if I thought I would be doing this for a living now, I’d tell you that you were nuts. It’s still surreal to me that I’m able to do what I love every day…now that doesn’t always mean it’s easy. Nothing worth having rarely is. Being a full time musician is tough and not for the weak at heart. I hear a lot more ‘No’s than I do ‘Yes’s and heartaches are the norm. But what I can tell you, is that it is the most rewarding and best decision I’ve ever made. I guess my point is that it’s never too late to follow your dreams. You honestly have no idea where it will take you until you go for it!
