Good morning!
I don’t know about y’all…but I’m ready for some sunshine after all that rain! My poor little garden has it’s own swimming pool…so there’s that, lol! It looks like it may be a beautiful weekend, so be sure to enjoy it while we can!
I told you guys at the beginning of the year that I was going to try and take some time off for me. I’ve been doing pretty good about it and I’m super happy that I get to go to ROMP this year! If you haven’t been, you really need to! It’s in Owensboro and the last week of June. If any of my friends on here are going, let me know and we can meet up!
I’m also super excited that I get to jam with Deja Blu 5 again this month! We are only gigging a total of 3 times this year, so be sure to try and catch a show. We’ll be at Lyle’s Sportszone this month on June 23rd, Roca Bar North on July 21st and KC’s Timeout on August 4th. Mark your calendars now!!!! Speaking of Deja Blu 5, I still have some merchandise left but it’s getting down to the end of our stock. If you haven’t gotten your CD, T-shirt, shot glass and/or koozie yet, get them soon before we run out!
Now, this is something that really blows my mind…I’m getting ready to celebrate my 500th live performance!!!! My website, www.AngelRhodesMusic.com, tracks all my shows for me and it just informed me that my gig at Carson’s on June 22nd is going to be my 500th!!!! It seems like so many shows, but I love what I do so much, it just flew by! I will be giving special deals on merchandise and offering a prize or two that night, so be sure to come on out and celebrate with me!
I’m actually in Evansville a ton this month, so I hope to see my friends out. It’s always nice to see a familiar face in the crowd 🙂 Love you guys!
