Good morning!!!!
I think this is officially the latest in the month that I’ve ever sent this out, but better late than never!!! For those of you that don’t already know…I’m now engaged!!!! I’m super happy to be marrying the love of my life and I’m still pinching myself that it’s really real.:) We are looking to get married next year, so I’m going to try and slow down a bit so that I have more time to plan our big day. (Easier said than done, lol) We are trying to be as cost effective as possible, so if anyone wants to help, holla at your girl!
Last month, I was blessed to be on WEHT Local Lifestyles again with Ange Humphrey. This time, I brought my buddy, Danny Metzger and my mom had her own segment too! This song was very hard for me to write, but it was also therapeutic. Every one of my original songs comes from experiences from my own life, or someone I care about. I hope you enjoy this next one. Carbondale Times will be releasing an article about me in their issue that comes out today (11/16/18). They heard about my gig at Walker’s Bluff this weekend and wanted to get to know me a little better. I was interviewed by Colleen Forsyth and she was such a sweetheart! I’m excited to see what the final product comes out to be. I really do love jamming in Southern Illinois, the people are so amazing there!
I’ve had several people ask my about this album, and we are currently working on the first EP, which will include 2-3 songs. I’m planning on releasing 2 EPs before the full album will come out. Gotta give you guys a taste!!! I’ll be having the guys from Deja Blu 5 and a few other friends guest appearing on this project, so I’m really excited to see what we come up with! I’ll keep you guys updated as it progresses.
Any way…I’m super thankful to all of you that follow my journey. It’s not easy following your dreams but it’s totally worth it!!! Stay warm and I hope all of you have a fantastic Thanksgiving!!!
